Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Aleksandr Lukashenko for his participation in the CICA and CIS summits.
The head of our state noted that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the comprehensive development of strategic partnership with Belarus.
During the talks, the Presidents discussed the current state and prospects for further strengthening of Kazakh-Belarusian multifaceted cooperation. Special attention was paid to the intensification of trade and economic engagement and industrial cooperation.
- I frequently tell members of the government that we must do our utmost to increase trade and investment cooperation and promote projects. It is necessary to use the available opportunities. From my side, we will do everything we can to continue effective multilateral cooperation," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
In turn, Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the invitation to the summit and noted the significant potential for further strengthening the CICA.
- It’s very right that you have begun to develop the CICA organization globally," the President of Belarus said.
The leaders also exchanged views on the international and regional agenda.
